Credits fund chargeable generation and artwork in Mythborne. Ordinary reading, writing a Draft, and browsing your Campaign are not Credit purchases.
Generated Scenes, Story Digests, and image work are separate pieces of paid work. The Campaign Owner funds generated Campaign Scenes and related Campaign content.
Before a chargeable action
Where an estimate is available, Mythborne shows it before you confirm a paid action. Estimates for usage-based generation can be higher or lower than the final charge. Fixed-cost image actions show their current cost before confirmation.
Mythborne calculates and records completed charges on the Server. Review Account transaction history for the final amount and available receipt details.
Understand the balance
Available Credits can authorise new paid work. Reserved Credits are temporarily held for paid work that is still running. Total balance comes from completed transactions before active reservations are deducted from what is currently available.
Buying Credits
Android credit top-ups use Google Play. Choose a package by its full Credit amount and Google-localised price, confirm through the Google Play sheet, then wait for Mythborne to verify the purchase with Google before relying on the new balance.
Windows and Web use secure hosted Stripe Checkout. Stripe shows the final localised total and payment method before payment. After checkout, Mythborne reads the authoritative Stripe status and adds Credits only after the Server verifies the completed payment.
All supported clients use the same Mythborne Account balance and transaction history.
Purchase help
If payment is pending, no Credits are added until the checkout provider confirms it. If Google Play checkout was interrupted, sign in to the same Mythborne Account, open the Credit Store, and use Check purchases. For Stripe Checkout, use Check payment status. Recovery can safely recheck unfinished work without granting the same purchase twice.
Payment and refund processing runs through Google Play or Stripe, depending on where checkout occurred. When the provider confirms a refund, revocation, or chargeback, Mythborne records the corresponding Purchase Reversal instead of deleting the history. If a purchase still needs help, use Discord, but never post order identifiers, purchase tokens, checkout references, or Account credentials in a public channel.
