How Mythborne works

One shared Campaign, shaped by the whole party.

Play through a long night together or continue one Scene at a time. Mythborne keeps the party's choices, rules, dice and consequences in the same living Campaign.

Your party chooses. The story moves.

Every active Player can shape what happens next.

Each active Player writes an Intent describing what their Character is trying to achieve. Saving keeps it as a Draft. Submitting marks it ready for resolution. Away Players are not required, so the Campaign can keep moving when somebody needs time away from the table.

From one Scene to the next

Move together, when ready.

A Campaign can resolve after every active Player submits, at its daily time once ready, or when a story manager chooses.

Read

See what just happened.

Open the latest Scene and review the world time, party state and consequences carried into the next moment.

Draft

Explore your Character's next move.

Describe the goal and approach. Save while it is still a Draft, without marking the Character ready.

Submit

Mark the Intent ready.

Submit when the words represent your move. You can still edit or Unsubmit while the Intent window remains open.

Resolve

Let the Campaign answer.

Mythborne brings the submitted choices together, resolves uncertainty and records the next shared Scene.

Draft on Windows, check it on your phone, and Submit only when the move is ready.

Your Intent is a direction, not a guarantee

Describe the goal. Let the Campaign answer.

An Intent says what your Character wants and how they approach it. Mythborne can then respect the Character, the Campaign state, the other Players, the rules and the dice. You can attempt something bold, but you cannot order the world to guarantee the result.

  • Save an unfinished idea as a Draft without marking it ready
  • Describe an action, goal, approach, line of dialogue or reaction
  • Submit when ready, then Unsubmit if the move needs another look
Character identity, generated portrait and equipped Items remain part of the same Campaign.

A Character who carries the journey

Gear, identity and consequences travel together.

Characters keep their portrait, profile, Inventory, equipped Items and active Effects alongside the story. A named bow, weathered armour or hard-won relic can matter in the next Intent instead of disappearing between Scenes.

  • Generated Character and Item artwork
  • Real equipment positions and carried Inventory
  • Campaign-visible state that can influence later Scenes

A world that answers back

Choices matter because outcomes are not prewritten.

Mythborne's AI acts as the Dungeon Master inside Server-enforced Campaign facts, mechanics and verified dice results.

Rules and dice

Uncertain actions can use authoritative dice, Character state and the rules active in the Campaign.

Every submitted voice

Characters can cooperate, disagree or head in different directions. Their submitted choices meet in one resolution.

Results that remain

World time, resources, Items, Effects, dice and ledger changes carry forward into later Scenes.

Return without starting over

The Campaign remembers where everyone left it.

Mythborne keeps the current Scene, Characters, party state, Intent window and Campaign history together. Continue an hour later, the next morning or whenever the group has time again.

Older story becomes a readable history of Scenes, Chapters, Volumes, Sagas and Chronicles, so a long-running Campaign can keep moving without discarding what came before.

The Campaign, latest Scene and party stay readable wherever the next choice happens.

Credits fund creation

Pay for the moments that use generative work.

Credits fund generated Scenes, Story Digests and artwork. Where an estimate is available, Mythborne shows it before you confirm. The final charge is kept in Account transaction history, and the Campaign Owner funds generated Campaign work.
